Below, you'll find many comments made by devotees of "Free Republic", the premier forum of Conservative Republicans, upon the killing of a young American woman who was crushed to death on March 15th, 2003, when she dared to be a human shield by standing between an Israeli Defense Force armored bulldozer and a Palestinian home that was scheduled for destruction by the Israeli government.
That said though, I am pretty disgusted to see so many people happy about her death. Pretty sick bunch we have here."

"Dear Freepers, this is my first post. ... for some Freepers to think that it is good that this American girl was killed is also a serious political mistake (and moral one as well) ... sane, patriotic Americans will think freepers are crazy, right-wing Nazis if they read these comments. I'm kind of horrified myself. " Drhogan

"Like I said before, the loss of a human life is always tragic. But they way some of these people choose to check out of this world IS quite laughable. If I do something dumb like smoke a cigarette while I'm putting gas in my car with the motor running and I blow myself sky high, then I deserve to be called a mindless dumb @ss! Throwing yourself infront of an armored dozer that is trying to tear down the house of a terrorist is a dumb @ss thing to do! And deserves to be made fun of."

"I'm sorry but I don't feel sorry for this woman. Her actions were stupid and idiotic! If she was stupid enough to jump in front of a moving bulldozer, then her death and her blood is on her!" posted on 03/16/2003 11:14 AM by Sister_T

"No one here is "rejoicing" in the death of this poor, misguided woman. Most simply question the intelligence of this person. Fact is, her actions were pure, straight-up and downright stupid! It's too bad she died in such a foolish manner but even more sad that she brought death on her own head by her own idiotic actions."
"If you put yourself in harms way, then you get what coming to you. I see it as one less usefull idiot in the World."

During the 2004 U. S. presidential campaign, a few very wealthy backers of George W. Bush published a book and ran an anti-Kerry ad campaign, misnamed, "Vietnam Swiftboat Veterans for Truth". The following is the way one of the two editors of the book, Jerome Corsi, has chosen to use his education, culminating in Ph D from Harvard University :
"Maybe while he's there he can tell the UN what he's going to do about the sexual crimes committed by "priests" in his "Church" during his tenure. Or, maybe that's the connection ― boy buggering in both Islam and Catholicism is okay with the Pope as long as it isn't reported by the liberal press". (03/03/2003)
"So this is what the last days of the Catholic Church are going to look like. Buggering boys undermines the moral base and the laywers rip the gold off the Vatican altars. We may get one more Pope, when this senile one dies, but that's probably about it". (12/16/2002)

90 year old "Granny D", (Dorris Haddock), is the brilliant and courageous old grandmother from New Hampshire who dramatized the importance of Campaign Finance Reform to many Americans, by taking two years out of herlife to walk the entire breadth of this country, from California's west coast to the nation's capital. Although they didn't identify themselves as "Free Republicans", many people wrote to the GrannyD.com website to express their contempt for this kindly, well-spoken lady in language similar to the above, if not worse. See what the beautiful people in the Republican Party had to say to and about this little old lady:
